To provide a welcoming, friendly, comfortable, and fun environment that brings together all sewing talent/skill levels to share our common hobby with each other and our community.
Welcome to the Charlotte, North Carolina chapter of the American Sewing Guild. Last year our chapter celebrated 30 years. While we are considered smaller than other chapters, the diversification of our individual talents and willingness to share those skills sets makes our group welcoming to all sewers regardless of where they are on their sewing journey.
Please join us for one of our upcoming events.

Use your mapping app to get to 500 Laureate Way, Kannapolis, NC 28081
There are 2 HUGE buildings side by side. Doors are locked and need a badge to open. You can, text Susan to let you in, knock on the main door (not the side door at loading area shown in red) until someone lets you in, or there could be someone waiting at the door to let you in. We are usually in the cafe area that is immediately to the left of the main doors.
Yellow- There is very wishful thinking parking places right in front of the building.
Red- A loading and unloading area between the buildings. The building you want will be on the right. Look for glass sliding doors
Green- Realistic parking along the road or in the large parking lot.
